The commercial names below are the ones used across the trade, so you can match them against what you already stock. Color and vein vary between blocks; that is the point of a sample.

These are the sizes the US trade buys most, given in inches and millimeters because you will be selling in one and we will be cutting in the other. Anything outside this list is cut to order; tell us the size and we will price it.

Common thicknesses are 12 mm and 20 mm for tile, and 30 mm for pavers and pool coping.
Finishes

Versailles pattern, also called French pattern
The standard travertine set in the US market. Four sizes laid twelve pieces at a time to make a repeating 48 × 48 in module.

Installers usually allow 10–15% waste, more than a single-size layout.
Mosaics
Mesh-mounted sheets, cut from the same material as the tile so the color carries across a job. Mosaics enter the US under a different HS heading from tile, which matters for your duty calculation.

Packing and container loading
Wooden crates on pallets, strapped and corner-protected. All wood packaging is ISPM-15 heat-treated and stamped, as US entry requires, and the stamp is photographed on every crate before loading.
Stone reaches the weight limit long before it runs out of space, so we plan loading by weight. The binding limit is not the container's sea payload of about28,200 kg; it is what a truck may legally carry on a US highway, roughly 38,000 lb of cargo on a standard chassis (about 17 t), and up to 43,000–44,000 lb(about 19.5–20 t) on a tri-axle chassis or with an overweight permit at extra cost. The table reflects the highway limit. Tell us at quotation which you can receive.

Indicative only. Travertine runs roughly 2.1–2.5 kg per square meter per millimeter of thickness; marble is slightly heavier. A 12 mm tile is therefore about 25–30 kg/m², or 5–6 lb per square foot. Your actual figure depends on the selection, the crate design, the finish and your state's rules, and we confirm it in the quote.

We do not quote your duty. The HS heading is a starting point, not a classification ruling, and US rates have moved more than once in the past two years. Confirm the current tariff line and rate with your customs broker before you commit to a landed cost. We will give your broker whatever product detail they need.
Samples
Physical samples before any order: a range set of several pieces, light to dark, rather than one tile. A catalog photo is not a sample. Stone varies between blocks, and the point of a range set is to show you that variation and to fix the acceptance range in writing before you commit a container to it. How to get a quote
Send these five things and the reply will be a price rather than a question:
- Material and color, or a photo, or an item you want matched.
- Format and thickness.
- Finish.
- Quantity, in square meters, square feet or containers.
- Delivery point, your port or your yard.
We quote in US dollars, FOB from a Turkish port under Incoterms 2020 by default, and CIF or DAP on request. The quote states the price basis, packing, lead time and payment terms in writing. We do not publish prices, because stone moves with the selection, the block and the freight market, and a number on a web page would be wrong by the time you read it.
