What we are
Meydan Building Materials sources building materials in Türkiye and sells them to importers, distributors and fabricators abroad. We do not own a quarry or a factory. Our work is finding the right mill, checking the goods before they ship, and getting the export file right.
Meydan Building Materials is the trading name of a limited company registered in Istanbul, Türkiye, founded in 2023; the contracting entity, its registry number and tax ID appear on every quotation and invoice. We are three people, two of whom you will deal with directly. There is no sales floor, no regional office network and no warehouse in your country. There is a phone number that a real person answers.

Türkiye is an established origin, not an experiment, and travertine in particular is a Turkish strength rather than a substitute for something else. The demand is concentrated in Texas, California, Florida, New York and Illinois, which is also where the distribution is.
Why a Turkish sourcing partner
The Turkish supply base is fragmented. Quarry owners, processors and trading companies all describe themselves the same way on the internet, and the company named on a customs record is often a freight forwarder rather than the mill that cut the stone. Sorting that out from another continent, in another language and time zone, is slow and expensive. That sorting is our job.
It is also why our first answer to a new inquiry is a set of questions rather than a price. A quote produced without knowing the selection is a guess, and a guess is what a wrong container starts as.
How we intend to be judged
